One-page portfolio project summary

Keep the problem, your decision, output and unknowns in one narrative. State up front whether the project is fictional or real.
When to use it
Use before describing a project in a portfolio or interview. It is not a qualification certificate or client endorsement.
Fill it in four steps
- Separate context from your role. Label a practice project explicitly beneath its title.
- Choose one decision and an alternative. Explain it using information available at the time.
- Separate the output from observed outcomes. Do not assign numbers to improvements you did not measure.
- Remove confidential detail and explain sharing limits instead of attaching restricted material.

One draft is kept per template. Each of seven fields allows up to 2,000 characters. Personal text is not translated when changing language. Use Save; there is no autosave. Review marks describe only your own review.
Preview and download use the current form; Save is separate. Downloaded files may contain personal notes. Share buttons share only the public page link. Blank TXT/CSV and bundle ZIP files do not contain your draft.

Project name and real / fictional status: Problem and scope: My role: My decision and alternative: Output I produced: Observed outcome / unmeasured part: Sharing limits and learning:
See the structure in an example
- Fictional project: test design for sample reservation rules.
- Role: my own desk-based exercise.
- Decision: separate normal and boundary cases first.
- Output: two scenarios and an open-question list.
- Limit: no tests ran on a real app; no performance result exists.
Ask yourself before finishing
- Is my contribution distinct from team or sample-data contributions?
- Have I confused an output with a measured outcome?
- Is the fictional-work label visible?
